Mark Kaiser
Assistant Director of Construction Engineering
In his more than 20 years at Burke, Mark Kaiser has worked on projects ranging from drainage improvements and road reconstruction to stormwater conveyance and site design.
In addition to providing both part- and full-time construction inspection services for a variety of clients, Mark serves as construction engineering’s assistant director. He coordinates with clients and Burke construction engineers and engineering technicians to staff projects effectively and efficiently.
In 2018, he was named the city of Indianapolis Department of Public Works Resident Project Engineer of the Year for his continued services on their infrastructure projects.
When he’s not working hard in the office, you can find Mark enjoying the outdoors, kayaking or hiking or playing volleyball. He also spends time giving back to the community, offering his skills to Habitat for Humanity.

I have spent most of my career working for Burke because of the family atmosphere and the way Dr. Burke takes care of his employees. At Burke, I’m supported in my career advancement and I’ve learned a multitude of new skills here.
What is the most important takeaway for Burke clients?
I believe the take away for our clients is that they will learn the depth of Burke communal knowledge going into the solution to meet their needs. I believe our clients will develop the understanding that our company will go above and beyond to be truthful in our findings, relay the information in the best way and get through every detail until they’re satisfied.
